Typically installed at the main water supply line (directly after the water meter), a Point-of-Entry (POE) system provides primary filtration for all incoming municipal water. It ensures that water distributed to your kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry facilities maintains a consistent, premium quality, offering you ultimate peace of mind.
The primary objective of a POE system is to elevate general domestic water quality. While significantly cleaner, water treated only by this primary stage is not intended for direct consumption. For drinking purposes, we recommend boiling the water or installing secondary Point-of-Use (POU) equipment, such as under-sink purifiers or water dispensers.
By effectively intercepting the majority of suspended solids and impurities at the entry point, the POE system significantly reduces the operational load on downstream POU drinking water systems. This pre-filtration prevents premature fouling, thereby maximizing the durability and overall lifespan of your secondary filter cartridges.
